PRAYERS FOR PASTORS IDOWU & TOYIN OGEDENGBE AND THEIR FAMILY

“Now I beseech you, brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; (Romans 15:30)

Thank the Lord Jesus Christ for enabling and counting Pastors Idowu & Toyin Ogedengbe to be put as pastors of the House on the Rock, Harvest House, Ibadan. Thank God for the victories He has granted to them since they assumed the responsibility of leading the flock of Christ in the local assembly. Bless the Lord for sustaining them with the mighty hands of His power through the various challenges and situations that they have been through and for causing everything that they have experienced to fall out unto the furtherance of the gospel of Christ. (1 Timothy 1:12, Philippians 1:12)

Pray that they shall be diligent to feed the flock of God which is among us, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly. That they will not do ministry for the sake of money nor make merchandise of the church but rather do ministry out of a willing heart and ready mind. Pray that they shall not lord it over God’s heritage but instead they shall be good examples to the flock of Christ in all things. Pray that they themselves will not be cast aways but shall keep their body/flesh under & bring it unto subjection. Declare that they shall not lose their rewards at the coming of Christ but shall be gloriously rewarded. (1 Cor. 9:27, Peter 5:2-4, I )

Pray that they will not preach Christ out of envy, strife and hypocrisy but with love, sincerity and patience. Pray that through their ministry, many will wax confident and bold to speak the word of God without fear. (Philippians 1:14-17).

Pray that they will speak as God’s oracles and minister only according to the ability that they have received of the Lord. That they will not be pleasers of men but God. Decree that they will not use flattering words, nor a cloke of covetousness nor seek glory of men but rather they will be gentle among us as a nurse cherishes her children.
(1 Thessalonians 2:4-7)

Pray that they will be accounted as good ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Pray that they shall be found faithful in all their oversight responsibility as pastors. They shall not fail God nor fail the church of Christ. (1 Cor. 4:1)

Ask God to always reveal to them what He wants to do in the Harvest House, House on the Rock and in the lives of everyone that is connected to their ministry. Pray that nothing shall be covered that will not be revealed to them or hid that will not be made known them. Pray that God will do nothing or allow anything to happen concerning the church under their watch without first revealing it to them (Matthew 10:26, Amos 3:7, Genesis 18:7)

Pray that God will confirm the word of their mouth and perform every message that they receive from the Lord as they declare it to His people. That they will give witness of the Gospel of Christ with much power such that great grace will be upon all that hear them. Pray that none of their words will fall to the ground. Ask the Lord to always confirm their words with signs and wonders following.(Isaiah 44:26, Mark 16:20, Acts 4:33, Acts 14:3)

Decree that anything that they loose here on earth will be what is loosed in Heaven and whatever they bound on earth shall be bound in Heaven. Pray that as they have received a commandment to bless, so shall they bless and whosoever they bless shall be blessed indeed. Declare that no offense will make them to curse, abuse or intercede against God’s people like Moses and Elijah did
( Numbers 23:20, Rom 11:2).

Pray that God will be the covering, defence and protection over their family. That no attack against them and their children will prevail. No weapon fashioned against them shall prosper and every tongue that rises in judgement against them shall be condemned. Decree that every soulish and evil prayer, enchantment and divination against them will not prosper but return upon the heads of those that imagine or utter every and any evil against them. Decree that they shall not do ministry at the expense of the soul of their children but their children love the Lord and follow His ways and that they will be brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Isaiah 54:14-17, Eph 6:4)

Pray for them that the word of the Lord will have free course through them and be glorified. Ask the Lord to always deliver them from unreasonable and wicked men who are unwilling to submit to the word of God or have faith in their ministration. (2 Thessalonians 3:1,2)

Pray that God will always supply their needs according to His riches in glory. That they will never beg or become servants of men because of what their belly desires or longs for. (Phil 4:19, Rom 16:18).

Bless the Lord for granting us answers to our prayers and requests from Him concerning our Pastors.
